Depart from Mumbai in the morning and drive to Nashik (approx. 4–5 hrs). On arrival, visit the sacred Trimbakeshwar Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. Explore the holy Panchavati area, Sita Gufa, and the banks of the Godavari River. Later, enjoy a wine-tasting experience at Sula Vineyards. Overnight stay in Nashik.
After breakfast, drive to Aurangabad (approx. 4 hrs). En route, stop at the majestic Daulatabad Fort. On arrival in Aurangabad, visit the beautiful Bibi Ka Maqbara, often called the ‘Mini Taj’. Stroll through the local markets for handicrafts and paithani sarees. Overnight stay in Aurangabad.
Begin early to explore the iconic Ajanta Caves (approx. 2 hrs from Aurangabad), renowned for ancient Buddhist rock-cut murals. Post lunch, visit the Ellora Caves and marvel at the monolithic Kailasa Temple. Also visit the sacred Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple nearby. Return to Aurangabad for overnight stay.
Return to Mumbai Check out and drive towards Ahmednagar (approx. 3 hrs), with an optional stop at Shirdi to visit Sai Baba Temple. In Ahmednagar, explore the historic Ahmednagar Fort and the Cavalry Tank Museum. Later, proceed back to Mumbai (approx. 5–6 hrs) with cherished memories of your cultural journey through Maharashtra.
